Born the ninth of eleven children, I was raised and educated in the city Niagara Falls. I grew up in what many would consider to be an impoverished family. I faced some of the same obstacles that many of our children face today. Child safety, social economic status and family values all impede academic performance.
Education and family are things I value, without them I would not be where I am today.
