Seneca Casinos will host some of the most extravagant fireworks displays in Western New York to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day holiday. Each of the two Seneca Casino resort properties, in Niagara Falls and Salamanca, will host these exciting and memorable events, which are free and open to the public.

The first display takes place Friday, July 4, outside Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca, and begins at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the outdoor parking lot. A rain date is slated for Saturday, July 5.

A second fabulous fireworks display takes place Saturday, July 5, outside Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, and begins at approximately 9:40 p.m. near the 6th St. outdoor parking lot. A rain date is slated for Sunday, July 6.

Both displays will last approximately 20 minutes. The public is welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and also is encouraged to allow ample time for nearby parking.

In addition to the outdoor fireworks, each property will offer exciting entertainment indoors around the July 4 holiday. First, at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel on Thursday, July 3, rock legend John Mellencamp will perform at 8 p.m. inside the 2,400-seat Seneca Niagara Events Center. A few hundred tickets remain on sale and start at $95 to hear dozens of Mellencamp’s chart-topping hits, such as “Jack & Diane,” “Lonely Ol’ Night,” “Small Town,” “Wild Night,” “Hurts So Good,” “Pink Houses” and many others. Second, at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel on Saturday, July 5, an affordably-priced 1980s rock show with Survivor will have fans feeling like they’ve got the “Eye of the Tiger.” The show begins at 8 p.m. and takes place inside Seneca Allegany Events Center, with tickets starting at just $15. Plenty of great seats are still available. Tickets for both shows can be purchased at Seneca Casino box offices, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
