Falls protests target garbage and recycling programs

Landlords and business owners turned out in force Monday, calling on city officials to delay implementation of a new garbage and recycling program set to go into effect in less than three weeks.

    If the city would have included the public and not drop the “bomb” I think if would not be as bad. But like always, surprise. Relatives in West Seneca have the same program but the larger bin is for the garbage. When I told them the smaller bin is our garbage they burst out laughing…leave it to Niagara Falls! I am in favor of recycling but to restrict the amount of garbage…that rule is made by people with no family or live in apartments.
