Does anyone at all recognize this man – photo from the 1940’s. His daughter only recently found out that this is her father and she has no idea who he is / was. Her mother gave her a photo before dying and simply said “This is your father, he is from Niagara Falls”…. how do we help her find her family roots? PLEASE SHARE! Posted by: Mary Corio
take this to area nursing homes, coffee shops and places older people hang out in hopes of one recognizing the man, maybe senior citizen centers or groups too. Are there senior groups on Facebook perhaps that it can be shared to?
could that be one of those big old homes on Buffalo Ave close to the falls? if so, check census records or at City Hall for names of who lived in those houses.
wow, that’s rough. He’s probably dead by now. Post on your wall and ask people to share. People move around nowadays. Someone may have a picture of him in their family album with a name penciled in the back
