Sheriff’s office warns of daytime burglary trend

There have been 18 daylight burglaries in the northeast and northwest areas of Niagara County since mid-September, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office reported this past week.

“We’ve had a lot of burglaries in the north end of the county, towns like Wilson, Newfane, Cambria, Porter and Lewiston,” Sheriff James Voutour said…
