Lisa Coppola to be keynote speaker at ABWA WNY event

ShineThe American Business Women’s Association Western New York Charter Chapter is pleased to announce that Lisa Coppola, Attorney and Entrepreneur, will be the keynote speaker at ABWA WNY’s networking and professional development event,  Shine: Empower, Connect, Achieve, on April 23, 2015.

Shine: Empower, Connect, Achieve will be held at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Restaurant in Depew and is sponsored by Mass Mutual Financial Group Buffalo and I-Evolve Technology Services. It will feature a professional development segment, a networking happy hour and a vendor fair.

During her keynote, Lisa Coppola will share her own story of personal and professional growth. Lisa recently received the New York State Bar Association’s 2014 Empire State Counsel Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteer Award and the Buffalo Volunteer Lawyer’s Project Pro Bono Immigration Award.

“We are very excited to have Lisa as our speaker for the evening. Lisa is a woman of many talents, and someone we admire and can connect with both on a personal and professional level,” said Jennifer Surdyke, ABWA WNY President and Account Manager at Benefit Brokers of Western New York.

“ABWA WNY is always striving to empower women through education; introducing them to established, successful mentors by means of our professional development seminars.  Our goal for the event is to allow women to network and connect with one another and build relationships.  We are excited to host our vendor fair again this year, recognizing many incredible local businesses,” she said.

Lisa has a professional background in advertising and marketing as well as a 25-year career as an attorney partnering with clients in their business and personal matters. Lisa is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She’s consistently named an Upstate Super Lawyer and has been recognized by Business First as a Legal Elite and a Woman of Influence, and received the Women Who Mean Business award.
