torn down a vacant addition (Value Plaza across from Wendy’s on Porter Road)
I remember Twin Fair all too well. My mom used to do a lot of her Christmas shopping there. I even have record albums in my collection that were bought there with the Twin Fair price tag still on them. The store folded in 1982 and was converted to Gold Circle, which itself folded five years later. Several years ago, there was a group that wanted to bring Twin Fair back, but that later fell by the wayside. Twin Fair also had a very impressive video game area as well as I remember playing pinball and video games there when I was a little boy. What great memories.
this is the times we live in now where we tear down to make bigger not ideal for any one.
