Council For Older Adults In Niagara County Announces Annual Spring Conference, Luncheon & Resource Fair

Come have fun and learn about new actives going on in your community!

The Council for Older Adults in Niagara County recently announced registration has begun for this year’s Annual Spring Conference, Luncheon & Resource Fair taking place from 9 am to 2 pm on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Antonio’s Banquet and Conference Center in Niagara Falls. This event is open to all Niagara County residents age 55 and over. The cost is $25 per person and includes a continental breakfast, a series of workshops, a resource fair and luncheon. Registration will begin at 8:30 am and each participant will be entered to win a door prize gift card (must be present to win).

Come and learn, all while enjoying fun and entertaining presentations promoting “Variety” as the spice for a healthy, happy and active lifestyle. A variety of workshops will be offered and will include: Laughter Yoga, Stroke Prevention and Awareness, Origami, and more.

Schedule:

Registration begins at 8:30am

Workshops begin at 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am

Lunch program begins at 12:30pm

* Council for Older Adults – The Council for Older Adults is made up of representatives from over 25 senior clubs and groups from across Niagara County. The COA offers many activities to help mature adults remain active, healthy and independent.
