The City of Niagara Falls Takes the “Stand Against Racism” on April 24, 2015.

Take a Stand!

Niagara Falls Mayor Paul A. Dyster and City Administrator Donna D. Owens invite Niagara Falls’ residents and community leaders to join in the 2015 Stand Against Racism event on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00am in the City Hall Council Chambers, 745 Main Street, Niagara Falls, NY.

“Stand Against Racism” is a movement that was initiated by the YWCA in 2008 to raise awareness that racism still exists in our communities and should no longer be ignored or tolerated. This nationwide event brings together citizens and communities to celebrate diversity, raise awareness, and silence the voices of those who promote hate.  The Stand Against Racism event in Niagara Falls City Hall will include several speakers who share this vision, and enlist every participant to read the pledge against racism in unison.
