Lockport’s world record try falls short as 150th events end

 While many came out to support the city and its attempt at breaking a Guinness World Record in the end, the effort was short by about 4,500 people.

Sunday marked the end of the city’s nine-day sesquicentennial celebration, culminating with the Taste of Lockport during which there was an attempt to break the record for the most people singing while being broadcasted live on the radio at one time…
