NOCO announces sponsorship of Thunder of Niagara Air Show 2015

NOCO announced today its $15,000 contribution to support the Thunder of Niagara Air Show 2015, July 18 & 19 at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.  Presented by the 914th Airlift Wing, the 107th Airlift Wing and the Niagara Military Affairs Council, the Thunder of Niagara Air Show is free to the public with gates opening at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday of the show.

“Thunder of Niagara Air Show is a tremendous opportunity to create awareness and remind local residents about the economic importance of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station to the Western New York community,” said NOCO President James D. Newman. “NOCO is excited to be a part of this fun-filled family event that inspires patriotism and showcases our country’s servicemen and women.”

Performers at Thunder of Niagara Air Show include the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, the United States Army Parachute Team a.k.a. the Golden Knights, the Wounded Warrior Flight Team – L-39 and the United States Marine Corps.  Air Show Co-Chairman Bill Wagner said,  “This year’s theme is ‘A Salute to Western New York’ so it’s only fitting to have a great local company like NOCO back again as a major sponsor. We cannot put on a show of this magnitude without the help of the business community and we certainly appreciate NOCO’s support year after year.” 

The Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station is the last U.S. Air Force Installation in the State of New York and the largest federal facility in the region. The station is home to the 914th Airlift Wing and the 107th Airlift Wing. The Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station also houses the 2nd Squadron 101 Calvary, 865th Combat Support Hospital, 1982 Forward Surgical Team, 277th Quartermasters Corp and the Buffalo Military Entrance Processing Station.
