Assemblyman Ceretto: Economic development projects revitalizing Niagara Falls

[Press Release]

Western New Yorkers recognize that our area’s valuable resources and limitless potential make our region a prime location for new businesses. That’s why it comes as no surprise that companies are investing locally and setting up shop right in our backyard. The $2.2 billion in private-sector investment, along with public funding, is helping revitalize our region and has positioned Niagara Falls and our surrounding towns third in Western New York development according to Buffalo Business First.

The influx of economic development projects is great news for our region, and we must continue building on this positive momentum and growth so we can launch more projects, continue to revitalize our communities and create new good-paying jobs for Western New York families. I’ve always fought to encourage public-private partnerships and direct state economic development funding to Niagara Falls, and I’ll continue to work with state and local leaders to ensure our region gets its fair share of funding.
