The Niagara Falls Veterans Memorial Commission celebrated Veterans Day today at the Niagara Falls Veterans Monument in the city’s Hyde Park at Pine Avenue (US 62A) and Hyde Park Boulevard (NY61).
The Niagara Falls Veterans Monument is considered to be the largest all-American granite monument that is dedicated to veterans in the United States, exceeded in size only by the fine World War Two monument in Washington, DC, which employs imported granite.
