From the Veteran’s Memorial Day Service committee, we’d like to share this message, too:
A larger than usual crowd is expected at this year’s Memorial Day service on Saturday, May 28th, 2016. Much of the seating will be reserved for Blue Star Families who have lost family members to war, service members and veterans and the aged. Therefore, the Niagara Falls Veterans Monument Commission not only thank John Caso and Steve Juzwicki’s DPPW crew for the fine job that they do every year in preparing the area and setting up the chairs for the event, but we also strongly recommend that you bring your own chairs with you.
Please also be advised that for the events at the Monument that Robbins Drive will be one way into Hyde Park from Pine Avenue up to and ending at the parking lot for the Ice Pavilion and will be so until the end of the event.
