Old Falls Street’s enclosed pedestrian walkway to be used for storage — for now

Niagara Falls City Council members have agreed to use the long-closed Old Falls Street “pedestrian walkway” as storage space for a local bike tour vendor but are declining an administration’s suggestion to wrap the glass enclosure in “photo op” decals.

Half a decade ago, city lawmakers wanted to demolish the walkway, the checkered glass enclosure on the road’s north side, to create space for street-level retail venues
