Santa arrives in Niagara Falls

The Culinary Institute of Niagara Falls continues to improve its’ community personality by hosting a breakfast with Santa just ahead of this season’s winter weather Saturday morning. Planning to arrive on Rainbow Air’s helicopter, Santa was sidelined by wind and made the trip to Old Falls St. via fire truck. A crowd of happy kids and anxious parents were excited to welcome the jolly elf and even happier to get indoors as the temperature dropped and winds picked up.

The culinary is set up perfectly to usher in holiday feelings with a ginger bread village upstairs, a post office for sending letters to Santa, a cookie decorating station, and an unbelievable waffle breakfast! Outside, a couple stray reindeer and a train ride for kids kept those dressed properly entertained as well. Old Falls Street looks like it will be the place to go this year to enjoy Christmas decorations and holiday cheer. And make sure you start it off Tuesday November 29 at 5:00 PM with Niagara Hub’s kick off to Locals’ Season happy hour at the Savor restaurant inside the Culinary Institute. Merry Christmas!
