Wheatfield seeks $750,000 to assist planned brew pub

The Town Board voted Monday to apply for a $750,000 grant to help pay for a $3.3 million plan to establish a microbrewery and restaurant in The Summit, a largely vacant mall on Williams Road in Wheatfield.
The town would use the grant from the state Office of Community Renewal for the benefit of Big Thunder Brewing Co., set up by mall owner Zoran Cocov, a Brampton, Ont., real estate developer…

Antonio’s Banquet & Conference Center hosts 6th Annual Bridal Open House
On Sunday, March 5, Antonio’s Banquet & Conference Center will hold their 6th Annual Bridal Open House. Over thirty vendors from Western New York will be present to discuss future wedding plans with prospective brides and their families including photographers, videographers, florists, cake makers, event planners, makeup artists, jewelry vendors, entertainment providers and the owners of the Venue.
“We look forward to this opportunity each year for our brides to come and experience Antonio’s as it would be on the day of their wedding. They are able to taste our food, meet our staff and also have the opportunity to one-stop-shop for other vendor needs they may have” said Frank Strangio of Antonio’s. Giveaways will take place throughout the show from Noon – 3pm, and will include a chance for a FREE wedding* at Antonio’s Banquet & Conference Center. Event Coordinator, Melissa Morinello of Sparkle! Marketing & Events stated “ We are thrilled to add some new elements this year, including a fashion show at 1:30pm, with clothing by Tattler’s Lane Bridal, You & Me Boutique, Lularoe – Libby Woock, and Tuxedo Junction. Not only will brides be able to come and see what is on trend for this year in bridal couture, but also find some items for the rehearsal dinner, shower and honeymoon!”
