The Niagara Falls branch of YMCA Buffalo Niagara has begun its fundraising effort for the 2012 “Strong Kids Campaign” under the leadership of co-chairs Donald E. Burns and Albert Parker.

For generations, the Niagara Falls YMCA has helped shape the lives of people of all ages in spirit, mind and body. Funds raised through the campaign will be used to provide financial assistance to those unable to afford the Y’s programs and services and to ensure that no one has to be turned away due to an inability to pay.

The Y states that when a person makes a gift to the campaign he will help make financial assistance available to children, families, adults and seniors in the local community who are facing difficult times financially. Thanks to donors, those in need can participate in YMCA programs such as school-age childcare, summer camp, wellness classes and teen leadership programs.

When you donate to the YMCA, you will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood, as all funds raised stay with the Niagara Falls branch to support the residents of Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities.

Donations are gratefully accepted online or through check or money order, made payable to Niagara Falls Family YMCA and mailed directly to 1317 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
