Niagara University to welcome MLK’s nephew as part of celebration

A keynote speech delivered by the Rev. Dr. Derek Barber King Sr., nephew of the late civil rights icon, will highlight a full slate of activities on Monday, Jan. 16, as Niagara University observes the federal holiday that marks the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The event also includes community service projects, mural displays, voter registration services and lectures on social justice.
