State senate giving no love to Whitney?

Senate Republicans in Albany aren’t showing any love for Whitney Houston.

The Senate GOP has rejected a request from Democratic State Senator Eric Adams for a resolution that would honor the late singer’s life.

Adams says his colleagues from across the aisle told him they were uneasy about giving a tribute to a woman who may have died from a drug overdose.

Adams had said he wanted the resolution after Houston donated proceeds from the re-release of her 1991 rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to 9/11 first responders following the 2011 terror attacks.
