Commuters throughout Niagara County are facing a bus fare hike, but at least that means the area’s routes should remain in service.
NFTA commissioners have approved a 25-cent fare hike for the system, meaning riders will be paying $2 come May.
At least two public meetings will take place before the fare hike goes into effect.
Supporters say the move will raise over $5 millon a year for the cash-strapped transit agency.
