Lockport man arrested for shooting man with pepper spray gun

A Lockport man who allegedly shot another man in the face with an pepper spray gun was arrested on Tuesday.

30-year-old Chad Munt of West Avenue was taken into custody after another man said Munt used the illegal weapon following a fight during a card game.

Munt was charged with felony second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and bail was set at $10,000.

Meanwhile, the victim was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital of Lockport with a scratched cornea.
