A Lockport man was arrested on assault charges on Thursday after he allegedly pushed a woman down the stairs and threatened to destroy everything inside the house.
60-year-old John Troy of Charlotte Avenue was arrested after a victim needed medical treamtment at Eastern NIagara Hospital.
According to reports, Troy pushed the victim down the stairs, then she hid until he left for work.
She had severe bruising and has asked for a full order of protection.
