Rumors had circulated that Artpark and Co., with a new enclosed amphitheater project well underway, was considering the prospect of charging for Tuesday in the Park concerts that have been free since the series’ inception.
Officials confirmed that is the case on Tuesday, taking media members on a tour of the grounds and announcing that Kansas and Foreigner will be among the major names that will dot the series this summer.
Most of the Tuesday concerts will cost $5 in advance ($10 day of show) and a few select dates will cost $10 in advance ($15 day of show).
The Coors Light Wednesday series will continue to be free.
