Today is Dyngus Day throughout Western New York.
Regarded as one of Buffalo’s largest holidays, Dyngus Day is now in its 51st year. Organizers held a ceremony yesterday at a local VFW Post to kick off the celebrations in advance of today’s events.
The parade will start at Corpus Christi Church in the Polonia District at 5 p.m.
Niagara County will have its share of events, too, as many will meet up at the Polish Nook on Cudaback Avenue in Niagara Falls.
