Falls’ George was victim in Sunday fatality

In what was a horrible weekend for auto accidents around the county, a 29-year-old Niagara Falls woman has died following a rollover crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Cambria.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s office says that Christina George of Niagara Falls was driving on Saunders Settlement Road when she apparently lost control of her car and it rolled over. She was ejected from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.

34-year-old Joshua Verity of Lockport was a passenger in the vehicle and he suffered minor injuries.

This took place after a deadly two-car accident in the Town of Cambria Friday night that killed one man and sent four others to the hospital.

Richard Dunn crossed the yellow line on Route 31, hitting another car head-on. Dunn’s truck flipped over and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Shayla Houston, Terrance Hardy, John Davis Jr., and Ashley Wallace were all sent to the hospital. Wallace was listed in critical condition on Sunday.
