Audio: Emerson says Fort Niagara’s Patriots Day celebration has something for everyone

The tourism season kicks off at Old Fort Niagara this weekend as the popular venue will host its annual celebration of Patriots Day weekend.

Patriots Day is still a civic holiday in many parts of New England and the Boston Marathon is usually run in conjunction with the commemoration.

Commemorating the beginning of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775, this event features living history demonstrations, musket firing, and storytelling.
