Assemblyman John Ceretto (R, I-Lewiston) is pleased to announce that his office finalized the application for a $75,000 state grant for the Niagara Falls International Airport (NFIA). This application now awaits approval from Empire State Development Corporation. The funding, which is being matched by a $75,000 grant from the Niagara Tourism Convention Corporation, will be used to attract new tourists to the region.
What is happening with the old terminal building at the airport, I read something a few months ago the NFTA sent out a request for potential use of the facilities. Why not make it into a tourist destination, like a museum.
