NT man gets probation in death of his three-year-old son

A judge handed a North Tonawanda man probation in the death of his three-year-old son.

Speaking before a judge yesterday, 24-year-old Zachary Stofle cried as he said he takes full responsibility for his son’s death.

But outside the court room, Stofle said he was unhappy with the sentence of five-years probation is displeased that he was prosecuted criminally.

Young Dane Stofle was killed in a darkened bedroom when he allegedly pulled a 19-inch TV off a dresser.

Said Zachary Stofle, “They made me out to be somebody who I absolutely am not.”
