Assemblywoman Jane Corwin, who represents Western New York in the New York State Assembly, was recently the honored guest of Orleans/Niagara District Superintendent Dr. Clark Godshall, Career and Technical Education Director Joe Steinmetz and Board of Education Vice President Becky Albright.
Albright had invited Assemblywoman Corwin to come visit one of the BOCES centers when her schedule allowed. She made time in her schedule recently to stop by the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center where she was given an hour-long tour of the center and was able to talk to some of the teachers and see the classrooms and the projects the students have been working on.
She was also presented with a T-shirt that one of the Graphic Communication students designed and some literature about all the programs that Orleans/Niagara BOCES offers to its thirteen component districts.
Albright said she was thrilled that Assemblywoman Corwin was able to see the work that staff and students do at the school.
