Recently, interest about the direction Nik Wallenda will walk (on June 15th) is becoming an issue.
City crews from the Parks and Public Works departments are preparing to descend on the Niagara Falls downtown to pull weeds, prune shrubs and plant flowers to begin an intensive season-long beautification and planting program with John B.Daly Boulevard, Rainbow Boulevard, Centennial Circle and Niagara Street targeted for most of the green-work.
The labor costs and purchase of related materials will be supported through a $15,000 contribution to the City from the Seneca Niagara Gaming Corporation.
Niagara Falls City Councilman Glenn Choolokian, in an effort to support locally owned businesses, will introduce a resolution at the May 29, 2012 council meeting titled,
