People needing emergency care for orthopedic and sports injuries now have better access to specialized care with the opening Monday (Feb. 18) of UB OrthoCare’s first Niagara County center in the Summit Healthplex.
A collaboration between UB Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, UB OrthoCare was established specifically for the treatment of muscle, bone and joint injuries within 72 hours of when those injuries occur. Concussion diagnosis and treatment also will be available as will bracing, casting and therapeutic injections.
