So great to read your articles again Frank. It is so amazing that even I as a tour guide didn’t even know about the “Snow Birds” until the evening of? Why are these things not advertised more publicly? If I had known I would have worked up my tour group for the surprise and I would have been able to make arrangements for them to watch it as a bonus on our tour in an easier fashion. I wish there was a way for things like this to be emailed around for tour guides, tour companies, hotels, and others to advertise or spread the word so to speak ! After all if we knew we would tell others too and that’s free advertising.

Kathleen, I hope Niagarahub can get info like that out to you in a timely fashion. Stay tuned, and stop by to meet us sometime.

As usual a brilliant article! I have always since relocating from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, referred to Niagara Falls, New York as our big brother down the street. I’m proud to be a neighbor of the united States, and always will! God bless you all USA. You truly are Canada’s big Brother, you have one beautiful and proud country!

thank you for stating what is probably the single biggest factor that has affected development and a sense of community worth in Niagara Falls, NY….the “we versus they” attitude of the USA versus any other nation. We can learn a lot from Canada…..the “Great White North” that was once the backwater brunt of jokes that poked fun at the naivete of Canadians in general is a far more progressive nation than the USA. Oh, and to anyone who inevitably will read this and think “then go live there if it’s so great,” I want to qualify my statement by saying “more progressive” does not mean “better than.” Both the USA and Canada have their strengths…..we would be smart to play on each other’s strengths to help correct our own weaknesses. Thanks for a great article, Frank.
