[From Michelle Petrazzoulo] It is with great sadness and regret that I announce the passing of Niagara Falls Public Library Board President Dolores Marino. She passed away suddenly Saturday.
In addition to being President of the Niagara Falls Library Board of Trustees, she was also President of the Friends of the Niagara Falls Public Library, a member of the Niagara Falls Friends of Local History Department, and member of the Board of Trustees at NIOGA as well as other organizations in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo area.
A former teacher for the Niagara Falls City School District and current member of College Club, she was extremely active in the community and a great advocate of education, public service, volunteerism and civic engagement. I considered her a great mentor and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and her contributions to our community will continue to be recognized for years to come.
