Former fugitive will spend decade behind bars for assault on a child

A Falls man who went on the run during a sexual abuse investigation will now spend 10 years behind bars.

Niagara County Court Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas handed down the decade-long prison term, with 20 years of post release supervision, to Philips Edgardo Aguilar. Aguilar had previously pleaded guilty to a single count of first-degree criminal sex act.
