Pink falls Friday part of effort to raise funds for breast cancer research

The falls will be lit in pink Friday night as part of an international effort to raise money for breast cancer research.

Cancer survivors and others are invited to form a “Pinktober Living Ribbon” across the Rainbow Bridge between Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Niagara Falls, Ont., as part of an annual awareness campaign.
