Murder charged dropped for one of the suspects in North Avenue shooting

A 42-year-old North Carolina woman initially charged in the shooting death of a woman in Niagara Falls won’t be indicted on a murder charge.

Niagara County Judge Matthew Murphy said the grand jury chose to indict Cammesoa Williams on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon, not murder. The Winston-Salem resident was arrested along with her boyfriend in the shooting death of Tijuana Davis at the 39-year-old victim’s apartment.
