City of Niagara Falls Holiday Events Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and the 6th Annual Holly Trolley

Mayor Paul A. Dyster invites Niagara Falls residents to City Hall for the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm. The holiday season kick-off will include a musical performance performed by “The Rainbow Singers” directed by Anita Harless, the lighting of the City Hall lobby tree, Santa and his helpers, and refreshments for families and friends.

The 6th Annual Holly Trolley is scheduled for Friday, December December 6, 2013, from 4pm to 7:30pm. City officials and a caroling youth chorus of Niagara Falls students will depart from City Hall and make the following eight stops: NTCC at Roundabout, NACC/Schoellkopf Park, Columbus Park, Gill Creek Park, LaSalle-‘Foley’s Park’, Highland Community Revitalization Committee at The Renaissance House, Cenotaph Park Main Street, then return to City Hall. The community is encouraged to meet the Holly Trolley along its route, sing carols with the riders at the stops and bring nonperishable food items, hats, scarves, mittens, gloves and/or toiletries. This event, initiated by City Administrator Donna Owens, is a collaboration of the city, community and business association organizers that decorate their neighborhood sites and invite residents to meet them at the trolley stops. The donations gathered on the trolley will be distributed to needy Niagara Falls families. Locations and times are as follows:
