Tax deal reached for One Niagara

The city and the owners of the One Niagara building have reached a tentative settlement to a tax assessment challenge that has been in litigation for more than two years.

One Niagara LLC, the company that owns the tourism center located at 360 Rainbow Blvd., will pay the city and school district $1.5 million in back taxes as part of the settlement, according to a resolution recommending that the city council approve the agreement from the desk of Corporation Counsel Craig Johnson on the agenda for Monday’s council meeting…
