Niagara Falls City Council delays decision on casino revenue

City lawmakers Monday put off a decision on allocating more than a half-million dollars in casino revenue to hire some temporary employees this year after concerns were raised, including about the roles of workers to be hired for enforcement of the new garbage and recycling law.

The City Council also withheld a decision on changing eight job titles in five city departments, a move that Mayor Paul A. Dyster said is necessary after 22 employees took buyouts at the end of 2014…
