Community Missions to Hold Kids Café April 11

Free Kids Café Activity: Creating Chinese Lanterns

Chinese-Lanterns-VectorFamilies of young children in the Niagara region may wonder what fun and interesting activities are available for youth on weekends. Community Missions hopes to provide an answer to this question. On April 11, from Noon-1:30 p.m., Community Missions will hold Kids Café in its Community Room at 1590 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. This month’s exciting activity will be a craft in which youth, along with their families, can create Chinese lanterns. The Kids Café program is available at no cost.

Youth up to age 12 are invited to participate, along with their families, in this craft. Snacks will be provided and lunch is available before and during the event, in the Community Soup Kitchen from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A parent or guardian age 18 or older must remain with children during the event.

Kids Café is a program providing recreational opportunities to youth on a monthly basis. For information on Kids Café, please contact Julie Whittemore at 716-285-3403 ext. 2293 or jwhittemore@communitymissions.org.
