The Aquarium of Niagara Celebrates 50 Years of Fun, Knowledge and Conservation
Since opening its doors in 1965 the Aquarium remains a leader and innovator in marine science plus recreational and educational programs. The Aquarium features California sea lions, Harbor seals and educational habitats including Humboldt penguins, Blacktip reef sharks and a giant Pacific octopus.
What: Celebration with brief remarks and a spectacular sea lion show displaying the keen minds, playfulness and abilities of these marine mammals. Light refreshments will be served.
When: Friday, June 12th at 1 PM
Where: The Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301
Why: Celebrate the past achievements of the Aquarium and help support the 2015 Join Our Journey campaign that will bring new and exciting exhibits along with state-of-the-art technology.
