With two veteran councilmen stepping down at the end of their terms, a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals has stepped forward in a bid to fill one of the seats.
Backed by the endorsement of the Niagara County and Town of Niagara Democratic committees, Robert J. McDermott will seek one the town’s open seats.
