Memorial announces Premier 2016 co-chairs

chair 1Drs. Amarpreet Grewal Bath and Shelley Bath and Janet and Dan DiPofi have been named co-chairs of The 2016 Premier, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s annual black tie dinner and entertainment gala.

Dr. Amarpreet Grewal Bath is medical director of the Niagara County Health Home at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was chief family medicine resident at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Chicago and the recipient of the MVP (Mission, Values, Philosophy) Award for her initiative and commitment.

Dr. Shelley Bath is director of MRI and Musculoskeletal Imaging at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Medina Memorial Hospital. He joined the medical staff at Memorial in 2010 after completing a radiology residency at Case Western, Cleveland, and a musculoskeletal/MRI fellowship at the University of California, Irvine.

Janet DiPofi is an Ithaca native and a graduate of Niagara University. Janet worked at HSBC bank before leaving following the birth of the couple’s first child. She was an active volunteer at Williamsville North School and with youth sports programs in both Rochester and Buffalo.

Dan DiPofi is a member of the medical center’s board of directors and former partner and chief operating officer of the Buffalo Sabres. A Niagara Falls native, he is a graduate of Niagara University and began his career as a certified public accountant with Price Waterhouse in Buffalo. Dan had been involved in sports and entertainment management in Buffalo and Rochester for over 20 years until his retirement in 2012.

The 2016 Premier will be held at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on Saturday, Jan. 16. The headliner entertainer will be Brass Transit, internationally renowned as the world’s greatest Chicago tribute band. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Golisano Center for Community Health at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center..
