Friday is earliest date to count absentee ballots in Falls mayoral race

Jennifer A. Fronczak, Niagara County Republican election commissioner, said Friday that the Board of Elections won’t start counting absentee ballots until next Friday, and it’s not yet known when the primary for mayor of Niagara Falls will be tallied.

On Primary Night Thursday, Mayor Paul A. Dyster had a 73-vote lead over Councilman Glenn A. Choolokian for the Democratic nomination.
