Universal Renovation Contractor – Application Available

Niagara Falls Agencies Streamline Approval Process

Four agencies. One application. One goal: Renovate more homes in the City of Niagara Falls.  The Niagara Falls Community Development Department, Center City Neighborhood Development Corp., the Highland Community Revitalization Committee, Inc. and Niagara Falls Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc.  have created a universal application for all federally and state funded Niagara falls housing renovations, administered by the agencies. Once the universal application is submitted and approved, the contractor is eligible to bid on construction work with all four entities. “We want to make bidding on housing renovation work as straight forward as possible,” said Seth Piccirillo, Director of Niagara Falls Community Development. “We welcome all local contractors to apply.  This is an opportunity for year round work, as we improve neighborhood housing stock in Niagara Falls. More approved contractors will help us renovate more homes in 2016.”

The application is available in PDF form on www.nf-cd.org and will be available in paper form at Niagara Falls Community Development, Center City Neighborhood Development Corp., Highland Community Revitalization Committee, Inc. and Niagara Falls Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. offices as of February 22, 2016. Contact information, for any questions, is listed on page one of the application.
