Here…here! Non productive properties should be given a time limit. Then, an owner must sell for appraised value. These end of colon big shots need a dose of “get it done” so their legacy doesn’t rot with their properties. Craig Avery
It would sure be nice to see this building sold to a developer who could turn it into mixed use, lofts and apartments. Until then, the City needs to be tough with land holders who sit on these properties and hold them hostage. Maybe they could get strict with building code enforcement, since nothing motivates a seller like fines for creating blight.
No, the blighted building with the litter in front is the former Jenss building in its present condition. Neglected, abandoned, but still owned and for sale with a giant price tag. The Gluck building was the previous image of the day.

oops! Yes, you’re right… I thought his comment was for the Gluck Building pic. Yes – this is indeed Jenss.
What building is this? Just curious. Thanks.
The Gluck Building… where the conference center is now.
Thanks Chris.
Sorry Frank I thought you meant that pic… Jenss (Main Street) is today’s Image of the Day.
