A Niagara Falls man whose shotgun went off during a robbery attempt, striking the victim in the arm, was sentenced Monday to four years in state prison, plus three years of post-release supervision.

“I am remorseful for what happened. It shouldn’t have happened, but it did, and I own up to it,” said Donald Dolson, 23, of Linwood Avenue, who had pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree robbery…
