Men indicted in Falls home invasion

A Niagara Falls man was arraigned Friday in Niagara County Court on charges that he and another man invaded the home of a Falls pawnshop owner Oct. 28 and robbed and injured him.

Robert J. Thornton, 24, of Cleveland Avenue, was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail set by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas after he pleaded not guilty to two counts each of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary and three counts of second-degree assault…
